》For Constable Tradesman: 10th pass + ITI/ vocational training/ experience in relevant trade

Constable and Head Constable: Proficiency/ professional test, document verification, and medical examination

Constable Tradesman: Written examination, physical efficiency test, trade test, and medical examination

Constable: Pay Matrix Level 3 (Rs. 21,700-69,100)

Head Constable: Pay Matrix Level 4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100)

Constable Tradesman: Rs. 21,700-69,100, with additional allowances and benefits applicable as per BSF rules
